Have a look at the ‘Scotland, Our New Home’ project website, shared by Dr. Katja Frimberger, co-facilitator of a Creative Scotland funded participatory film-making project which worked with unaccompanied young refugees and asylum seekers in Glasgow.
The website showcases films created as outputs of the project, in collaboration with young people from the ‘New Young Peers Scotland,’ a New Scots-led refugee support group in Glasgow. These films offer support and advice to new arrivals making a home in Scotland.
On the project website, you will find the films as well as easy to understand film-making teaching videos designed for the New Scots who participated in the project and now made available to anyone who might like to learn the fundamentals of film-making and storytelling.
Please feel free to share the films with any individuals and communities you feel might benefit from these resources.
If you would like to receive a physical DVD of the films or have any further questions about the project, please email Katja at [email protected]
